1. Overview

Spark Extensions are Chrome extensions designed for ADHD brains. Your privacy is a core part of how we build. None of our extensions collect, sell, or transmit your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

2. Data Collection

Spark Extensions do not collect personally identifiable information. We do not collect:

Your name, email address, or any contact information
Passwords, PINs, or authentication credentials
Financial or payment information
Health or medical information
Browsing history or web activity
Location data
Personal communications (emails, texts, messages)

3. Local Data Storage

Some extensions store data locally on your device to make the extension work — for example, your grocery list, meal plan, chore assignments, or routine tasks in Home Spark. This data:

Is stored using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API
Never leaves your device
Is never sent to any external server or database
Can be deleted at any time by clearing extension data or uninstalling the extension

4. Permissions Used

Each extension only requests permissions required for its core features:

No permission is used for tracking, advertising, or data collection of any kind.

5. Voice / Microphone

Home Spark includes an optional voice command feature. This feature uses your browser's built-in Web Speech API. Audio is processed locally by your browser — it is never recorded, stored, or transmitted by Spark Extensions.

6. Third-Party Services

Spark Extensions do not sell or share user data with third parties. The only third-party service used is:

Stripe — for processing Pro subscription payments. When you choose to upgrade, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Spark Extensions never sees or stores your payment information. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to all payment transactions.
Google Fonts — some extensions load fonts from Google Fonts for display purposes only. No user data is passed to Google Fonts beyond a standard font request.

7. Remote Code

Spark Extensions do not use remote code. All JavaScript is bundled within the extension package. No external scripts are loaded or executed.

8. Children's Privacy

Home Spark includes kid-friendly features (chore tracker, kids lunch builder). We do not knowingly collect any data from children. No personal information from children is stored, collected, or transmitted.

9. User Control

Uninstall any extension at any time from Chrome → Extensions
Clear locally stored data through Chrome → Extensions → [Extension] → Clear Data
Disable or revoke individual permissions in Chrome extension settings

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as new extensions are released or features change. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
